Second weekend!

Friday night:
Well I guess you could say Friday night was fun, but if you ask anyone that was with me I was angry all night. Besides that, it was an awesome night. Katie, Lauren, Lily, and I started at our apartment and then met Brooklyn and her friends at Hudson Terrace. Nice open roof bar but the DJ sucked and they let too many people in. The middle level was really nice with chandaliers all over the ceiling. Free black label? Maybe thats where the anger came from. Left there, went to Tenjune- mentioned someones name at the door and they opened up the gates and let us right in? The rest is a blur but we went to SL and 1Oak and one of them was really hard to get into so Katie and Lauren went home. Somewhere inbetween this we took a limo to the next one, free
martinis, free champange, changed my ethnicity to persian, made the biggest mess with gyros in the back of a cab, snuck Lily into our building again, and
spooned her in my twin bed. The next morning we found a loaf of bread in the bathroom and a plate of olive oil and vinegar beside the toilet? The only thing we paid for all night? cabs.

Saturday:

Started off going to the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party in Madison square. Had delicious BBQ ribs from Texas, walked around hungover, and got some free stuff. Walked around the outdoor market in Union Square, eating samples of delicious apples, jams, tomatoes, and alive chickens out of the back of a sketchy white van. Just kidding (inside joke). Next we went to China town so the girls could get fake purses from a lovely black man. This is when we picked up our first
ethnic man to take home and keep in our closet. The next was the Dominican at the shoe store, then the Egyptians at Baskin Robbins. Obviously, on our 15 block walk to Century21 we decided to stop in every shoe store a
nd every ice cream joint on the way- im not kidding. Century21 is the best store ive ever stepped foot in; I spent 4 hours in there and way too much money. My first splurge in NYC is from here: a gorgeous forest green silk Graham and Spencer top. We were so tired and still hungover from the night before that we just ate dinner and went to bed early.

Sunday:

Lauren, Katie, and I went to the Peurto Rican Day Parade to try to see J.Lo but, we were too late. Then we went to The Garage flea market- I got a 60's gold clutch with a big bow on the front for $15! So I read about this "awesome, super cheap" Grand Market in a book and it
sounded like the best place ever so we made the trip in the rain to get there. We get out on Canal street, which is not where we wanted to be in the first place in the rain, and end up trekking a mile through Chinatown to get there. I cant even begin to explain to you the horrifying things that were in this place.

1. No one spoke english

2. We were the only white people in there

3. There were black chickens, duck tongues, pig hearts, frog legs, baby heads, and anything else that makes you vomit.

4. We're never going back to Chinatown. Ever.

On the way home we went to Nordstrom Rack and Trader Joe's (should have got the chocolate covered pretzels). I found a men's Burberry pullover that I wanted so bad for myself and the girls wouldnt let me get it because it is a ridiculous purchase but, im going back to get it TODAY. I cant stop thinking about it and I cant find it anywhere online.

Finally home, we cooked dinner, and started the most ridiculous stupid ripped-off system of laundry ever. And I just realized I left a pair of undies in that room. Crap.
